    well, pioneer dv 383 is doing the same thing!! I would say its the tv but how come non-copy protected dvds work ok at 576p?? Did i read somewhere that the LG and the pioneer use the same chipset?

    UPDATE: I have just discovered that the problem is only happening with copy protected DVD's ie store bought ones I tried a non-copy protected dvd and ran at 576p and no problems at all! Does anyone please have suggestions why this would cause a black screen every 10 seconds?? Thanks
