Unfortunately all those settings are correct, so..no. Probelm's subtle too. Hard to see unless there is a slow sweep right or left. I've read several reviews of the 2910 and they say you just don't get aliasing out of this unit. Wonder could it be because it's multi-region, and therefore not a...
Hello, I purchased a Denon 2910 on eBay last year. (Possibly my first mistake). Got a good deal on it but found out it was purchased through Hong Kong. Region 0 player. It sounds wonderful but I get lots of jaggies on my CRT 35" tv screen running S video to it. These video flaws don't show up...
Looking back I can't believe I didn't get into DVD until December of '99. Like Steve I jumped from VHS to DVD. I remember cuing up Star Trek First Contact on DVD and VHS so they were at the exact same spot and flipping back and forth for comparison. Couldn't believe films could look that good at...
Very interesting Greg. Looks like the movies your link mentioned, The Color Purple, Blade Runner and Twister were all released 03-25-97. The first DVD I owned was The Matrix which I received Christmas of '99. Guess I was a little late to the party. Thanks for the info!
Watched Stargate again tonight and noticed that was released in 1997. That made it a pretty early release for the DVD format. Got me to wondering what the very first movie released on DVD was. Anyone have any ideas?
I forgot about Long Kiss Goodnight. A highly unerrated movie! I am adding it to my list. You guys are giving me some great ideas. You've listed a lot of movies I've never heard of too, which is exactly what I was hoping.
I thought I would go ahead and list some of my all time favorites that I already have: Fifth Element Kill Bill Rundown House of Flying Daggers Last Samurai Once Upon a Time In Mexico LOTR Trilogy I know some of these crossover into other genres, but still are great action movies.
Kain- Well, I didn't want to be too specific as I was hoping I might get suggestions I hadn't thought of. But I suppose I'm looking more for modern (last 20 years) movies. By the way, the Indy collection is one of my favorite recent additions.
Wife and I were looking through the collection last night trying to find a good action/adventure movie to watch. Couldn't find anything we wanted to see, so I decided it's time to add some to the collection. I would love to hear what YOUR favorites are in these genres.
