Track the Films You Watch (2005)

"Prelude to a Kiss" (1992) :star: :star: 1/2 DIRECTOR: N. Rene I really liked the 1st half of this movie which was actually the prelude to the kiss but after that kiss, I just wasn't feeling it. I very much enjoy neurotic New Yorker Romantic comedies ala "When Harry Met Sally" and most...

    GREG THE BUNNY returns!

I watched it (the new episodes) last night. Better than the awfully boring "Hopeless Pictures" but not as good (IMO) as "The Festival". It was an "Annie Hall" spoof with Greg the Bunny getting it on with a lobster! Yeah, baby! . It was kinda funny. The Woody impression grated on me though...

    Entourage season 2

"Entourage" is probably my favorite sitcom. The acting, the guest stars (Mandy Moore! Malcolm McDowell! Melinda Clarke! Emanuelle Chriqui! James Cameron! Oh My!) and the chemistry between the leads is all fantastic.... and it's funny too.

    Comedy Central Roast: Pamela Anderson

Adam Carolla actually DOES look like Pete Sampras with downs syndrome! I thought it was a pretty good roast overall, albeit repetitive. Bea Arthur looks like a walking corpse.... and Big Bird. From what I know Comedy Central's roasts have been: Jerry Stiller, Rob Reiner, Hugh...

Me and You and Everyone We Know

I gave it :star: :star: :star: 1/2. Almost perfect. Definately the best movie I've seen this summer ("Garden State" got that award last year) but that might change if I get to see "Broken Flowers" before summer's end. However, being the best movie I've seen this summer isn't much of a compliment...

Movie deaths that stayed with you...

I just thought of 2 more. Bruce Willis in "Sin City" I was very upset that he killed himself because I wanted to see him and Jessica Alba end up happily ever after together. They had great chemistry. Another movie suicide that got to me was Janeane Garofolo in "Sweethearts"

Movie deaths that stayed with you...

This is not in a movie so this is cheating. This is from a TV show but it REALLY got to me. I can't think of any movie deaths that affected me this much. Brendan Fraser's character of Ben on "Scrubs" death was shocking and so emotional for me. I cried. It was all done so perfectly...

    Movies about therapy.

Analyze This Analyze That This is from IMDB (and there's more too :P) Abre los ojos (1997) 7.9/10 (8656 votes) ...aka Apri gli occhi (1998) (Italy) ...aka Open Your Eyes (1999) (USA) ...aka Ouvre les yeux (1998) (France) Absence of the Good (1999) (TV) 5.4/10 (244 votes) Adam &...

Track the Films You Watch (2005)

"Sin City" (2005) :star: :star: :star: 1/2 DIRECTORS: R. Rodriguez & F. Miller SPECIAL GUEST DIRECTOR: Q. Tarintino I'm not a big action movie guy. I prefer comedies (albeit dark comedies) and indie dramas but "Sin City" has such a great cast that I had to check it out. It's definately...

Track the Films You Watch (2005)

"A Dirty Shame" (2004) :star: :star: 1/2 DIRECTOR: J. Waters I've never seen a full John Waters movie before. I've seen bits of "Hairyspray" but never a full movie of his. However, I knew what to expect of Mr. Waters. For starters, I viewed the "neuter" R-rated version (the movie was...

Track the Films You Watch (2005)

"Straight-Jacket" (2004) :star: :star: 1/2 DIRECTOR: R. Day A decent, delightful little comedy loosely based on Rock Hudson. It's about Guy Stone, a (fictional) 1950s movie icon who just so happens to be gay so his publicist gets a ditsy but well-meaning and starstruck blonde to marry...

I saw this movie when it was in theaters. Decent but not as good as Anderson's other films. :star: :star: 1/2

The 40 Year Old Virgin with Steve Carell

I saw the trailer before both "Bewitched" (:star: :star: 1/2) and "Mr and Mrs. Smith" ( :star: ) and, I have to say, it's not the sort of movie I would normally see (not that "Bewitched" or "M&M Smith" are either) but I might check it out on DVD when it comes out. Elizabeth Banks is also in...

Me and You and Everyone We Know

I'm going to see it tomorrow as it is FINALLY playing near-by (not too close but not too far either). I'll make sure to post my review tomorrow.

Track the Films You Watch (2005)

"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" (1998) :star: :star: 1/2 DIRECTOR: T. Gilliam This movie is stupid, pointless, annoying and tedious.... and I like it! There's something likeable about this movie but I'm not quite sure what it is. Maybe it's the performances from Depp and Del Toro, which...
