Ok, I am tossing the Samsung 941; any recommendations for a reasonably priced DVD player with up-conversion? Preferably HDMI since I invested in a 30 foot HDMI to DVI cable. Joe

Yeah, I tried that with component, s-vid and composite plugs; doesn't matter. The HDMI/DVI selection is dimmed and not selectable. Joe

The problem is is that the menu on the Samsung SHOWS DVI but it isn't SELECTABLE. Apparently if it does not detect a DVI connection then it won't let you select it. I'm beginning to lose interest in the 4805/DVI effort. Joe
