Double slim cases. I used to like Digipaks, simply because it looks very nifty, but it is not as practical. I ran out of shelf space about 50 sets ago so the smaller the better. Don't even get me started on the scotch tape disc trays the Simpsons seasons 6 & on have used. Ugh.

This kind of sucks for new fans of the show. It premieres on September 22nd, so basically new fans are screwed. (Unless you tape it) It makes more sense to release the set before the show's premiere.

Simply put... The companies want to milk the consumer for every penny they are worth. These complete series box-sets are released to get fans on the fence about buying the series to buy it at a lower price point. (& possibly to move unsold stock)The companies release shows in the season format...

The thinpack sets were released on May 30th. For that price, the complete series set is cheaper then the thinpack sets. That averages out to $20 a season... Most Buffy fans paid $60 per season so that is a great deal. Now as for wether you would enjoy the series or not... Perhaps you should...

I finished season 1 today & I am now even more in love with this show. I just picked up seasons 2-5! If there are any Canadians here, I found them for $35.99 each at Costco. That is a pretty good discount... Can't wait to watch 2-5 now!
