    Most Wanted Telefilms

My vote is for the two part "Alice In Wonderland" that aired in 1985, with Sammy Davis Jr., John Stamos, Carol Channing, and many more. You can't beat it.

Cult / Classic 80's films on DVD

I second the Gymkata dvd. Would it be hoping too much to get a commentary track for that one? I would love to hear the explanation for the village of the crazies and the infamous priest. Also, Little Darlings.

    Footballer's Wives Season 2 Dec 6th!

I just got an email from the company that distributes Footballer's Wives in the U.S, and they say season 2 is coming Dec 6th, and I'm guessing this also means Bad Girls season 2 is being released the same day. It's an incredibly addictive tv show.

Your movie/tv show opposites. Where u go against the masses?

Okay, I have to bite. I find Brad Pitt the most uninspiring, bland, cookie cutter actor in Hollywood. I can't think of one preformance of his that I enjoyed. I just do not understand his appeal. Fight Club was one of the dumbest movies I have ever seen, and that "twist" ending was not a...

HTF REVIEW: LOST - the complete first season - ADDICTIVELY RECOMMENDED!!!

The set is amazing, and I already found an easter egg (I never find these things...) on the second disc, go to the episode selection, and once there, go down to the bottom of the screen and press to the left, and you'll get :the full transmission of Rousseau's distress call I have a feeling...

A Few Words About A few words about... I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

I liked it actually, it left things up in the air for you to decide yourself. Personally, I think he left the woman at her house to get murdered and got the hell out of dodge

Where is your fav place to buy TVdvd's

I buy a lot of mine at pawn shops, their selection is hit or miss, but when you find a title you like at one, you can't beat the price. Other than that, I go to Best Buy, Wal Mart or Fred Meyers

The Ongoing Wal-Mart $4.88/$5.50/$5.88 Bargain Bin Thread

I found Foxfire yesterday in the Anchorage Alaska bin, it's widescreen, but I can't remember if its anamorphic. It's an okay Angelina Jolie movie that I absolutely loved when I was 14. It's worth checking out if you like angsty movies targeted towards 14 year old girls...

Arrested Development S2: Where's the announcement?

I agree with you Matt. I knew which picture you were talking about before you even posted the link. I don't know why Bateman gets all the credit, GOB is the most amazing character on televison. -Kate

Which "specials" will be included on the ADVENTURES OF PETE AND PETE DVD?

Thanks Robert. Sadly I'll have to wait some more until Splashdown is released, which is one of the best episode IMHO.

Which "specials" will be included on the ADVENTURES OF PETE AND PETE DVD?

So which episodes will be on the second set? I tried to look it up over at tv.com but their episode listing for Pete and Pete has gotten screwey. Oh tvtome, how I miss you so.

    Zombie Movie Appreciation Thread

I love Zombie movies as much as the next guy, but everyone on this thread is only focusing on the "scary" movies. What about the zombie/cop/buddy movie "Dead Heat" or "My Boyfriend's Back"?

    Little Darlings??

Well, its been three years since the last post, and I'm wondering if there has been any news yet on a possible release date. I read somewhere Anchorbay has the rights. Surely there is an audience for this film, at least I hope so...

THE WIZARD OF OZ: 2 and 3-Disc on October 25th, 2005

Is it nerdy that Oct 25th is my 21st birthday, and I'm more excited that my favorite movie of all time is coming out that day rather than the fact that I can legally drink alcohol?! It's the three disc set for me!:D

'THE HEAVENLY KID'(1985)-Who owns the rights?

what is the class ring version? I love this movie, but the one thing that drove me crazy about it was that it was based in 1985/1984, and the kid was supposed to be about 16/17, so that would have meant that Bobby would have died in 1967 at the earliest...which seems a little late for the...

    DDD = Digital Eyes.net?

I got an email from digitaleyes not too long ago promoting their "sister site" Deep Discount DVD's 25% off sale. They must have some sort of friendly relationship if they're willing to promote another site's sale.

Bewitched? No, just annoyed. B&W isn't to be found!

Fred Meyer's had a couple copies of black and white, but both sets were mixed into together, I nearly bought a colorized version because I reached in back of a black and white. I just don't get colorization.

    TvTomes.com No longer?

I agree with all the complaints, and I have no idea why the changed tvtome, which I visited on a daily basis. Is there any other website out there that's almost as good as tvtome used to be? I don't plan on going back to the new site.

    Freaked on DVD

I love this movie, Mr.T dispensing beauty tips is truly classic, and the scene where the fan boy finally gets his story published, but in a tabloid, is hilarious.

Does it seeem like the second season is typically the best?

I don't know if I agree, the second season seems to be the season the writers add an obnoxious new character to "shake things up" like in "ED" (Dennis Martino)"Gilmore Girls" (Jess) or (don't laugh, because I thought it was a pretty good show at first) "Veronica's Closet" (I forget the guys...

    Old Nick Shows

So are the figures in on how Pete and Pete did? I'm terrified that the other seasons won't see the light of day (while I love all the episodes equally, I have a special love for "Inspector 34" and the episode about adult swim at the local pool.) I grew up on Nick shows, but Pete and Pete is...

TV Shows you want on DVD but highly doubt they'll come out.

Melrose Place (With Desperate Housewives a hit, you'd think they'd release this...not only because of the overlapping cast members, but they both fall into the "night time soap" category) Square Pegs Kolchak: The Night Stalker Parker Lewis Can't Lose Beverly Hills 90210 (I'd settle...

    Blind Buys: Best and Worst

My best blind buy has to be Arrested Development, with Buffy the Vampire Slayer coming in second. I just can't believe I went an entire season without knowing the hilarity of the Bluth family. I've done pretty good on blind buys. It wasn't really a blind buy, but I bought eerie indiana, a show...

TV DVD's you own but haven't watched yet

What I do is if I really get into a show (currently Alias) I go out and buy all the box sets (usually from a pawn shop so as to save some money) so I don't get interrupted when I watch the show. Nothing is more obnoxious when you end one season on a cliff hanger, and you have to go out and buy...

How about a "Ronald Reagan Signature Collection"?

I was surprised no one had released "Million Dollar Baby" with Regan and Priscilla Lane when the Swank movie of the same name came out. It sure would have confused some people into buying it, not knowing that they only thing those two movies had in common was the title. Besides, I'm always...

    Adventures in Babysitting Remake?

What a horrible idea for a remake. How will they ever get someone as cute a Geroge Newburn to play the love interest? I saw this in the theatre when it first came out, and it made quite an impression on me. Don't forget: "Girls like you only come around once in a lifetime... Or twice in the...

    Desperate Housewives ongoing thread

My thoughts exactly. Call it denial, but its a great, and nasty way to test to see if she really did it. I hope they don't really kill of Rex, it would have been much better to get boy toy John off the show. He's so boring.

    NBC has finally done it.

Giving you ample time to find better shows on better networks :D Personally, I think NBC jumped the shark when they cancled ED.
