I have been looking for an affordable solution to the $1200 iscans and I have found it! This thing is amazing and I got it for under $300! On a budget? This is the deal. Well I have been playing with it for hours (got it yesterday). I have my xbox, Sony DVD, LD player , Dreamcast all...
I was kicking around putting different items on Ebay to maybe snag some cash for a better LD player. These are some of the items...would you be interested in some of them? Panasonic 1.3 Meg Dig. Cam (superdisk) , Klipsch KSB 1.2 book shelfs, RCA scenium 40 Gig DVD/DVR player ( used once )...

I'm just trying to get a bit better picture on my 55" than my Pio 502 (93/94) model. I was looking at a Sony MDP series that is older but the specs include a 3-line comb filter that I do not believe the Pioneer has. Anyone know if it would be worth a try? bg

Some good points about the old tubes lasting longer not reflecting what we are buying today and the reliability factor! I do hear everyday.."my last tv lasted 14 years". It is difficult knowing when and if some product will fail but in the early days 91-2000 I never saw tube and crt projos come...
A few days ago ( for those who read it )I unleashed what did seem to be more of a rant than constructive advice from a retail tv mgr. Some days you feel more like strangling customers then you come home and fire the stress on the web..LOL I wanted to bring up some things to help arm you guys...
Some quick things I have got to throw out there after reading the passionate threads on this site. A high quality CRT bigscreen will produce a better image than that $3500 DLP your thinking about. You will replace bulbs and light engines faster than you think in DLP and LCD projos. I...
