DVD TIMES did state "Legacy Series" which leads me to assume that Dracula and Frankenstein will be the other two titles newly released as part of the Legacy Series after Double Indemnity. This practice might be a follow-up to last year's wave of Legacy Series titles released in one year. However...
Wait wait wait... So Dvd of The Searchers included in the Boxset is NOT the 50th Anniversaryy ULTIMATE Edition but rather the 50th Anniversary SPECIAL Edition??? A look on the boxset photo certainly say otherwise....
Paths Of Glory All Quiet on the Western Front Touch Of Evil The Graduate It's A Wonderful Life Bonnie And Clyde Adam's Rib The Night of the Hunter Chinatown Red River Sweet Smell of Success
Does any website have a hi-resolution shot of the artwork for Stagecoach? My eyes are nearly blind just squinting at the tiny icon featured on the boxset photo.
FANTASTIC NEWS!!! Judging from last year's releases, a wave of Legacy Series DVDs comes by threes so hopefully Universal will include Touch of Evil and All Quiet on the Western Front as part of the second wave of the Legacy Series.
An American in Paris was supposed to receive the Ultra-Resolution treatment and get a Special Edition release this year. Was th eplan scrapped or its its there, just developing?
Yes this title, only with Double Indemnity and All Quiet on the western Front, are worthy of the "LEgacy Series" honour. The next wave i hope will hit at in and around September.
AT LAST!!! No more DVD Desicion, which was restricted to WB owned titles. Now it's a petition for films of EVERY studio. TCM, ur a movie-fan's messiah!
Marco, I went to Metro Video yesterday and they told me it was delayed (the hwole set and the individual releases) to January 24. If you have picked it up, would you please tell me where in Montreal did you get it?
