you need a Line Level converter or an amp with High Level inputs like this one here Navone LOC I personally use it with aftermarket components and JL Audio amps. I am pleased with it, and i am sure you would be as well.

to me it sounded louder at lower levels, i have to crank the pioneer to -20db to acheive the same loudness as -40db on the Onkyo. Not to mention the Onkyo has a huge remote that allows you to do almost anything. I feel that you would be more than happy with the Onkyo, If i could have afforded it...

i had the onkyo 702, its an awesome sounding and looking receiver. i compared it to the pioneer 1014 and for me the Onkyo was the hands down winner. Although the pioneer does have the better auto calibration.
