fr. john... about plasma burn in... a plasma is made of a buncha little picture tubes... same material really. if your crt has never burned in, its unlikely a plasma will either. you can probably find a sony 42we655 42" lcd rp for 2200-2300 if you look and can spend the extra cash

depends on the plasma really. A $2600 samsung does not look like a $6500 pioneer elite. the pioneers scaler looks much better. there are things that can help. call your cable company saying you're getting a bad singnal and that you think they need to boost the singal strength. add a monster...
