Do LCD TV's have a fast enough response time that you won't see motion blurs in action films and sports?

Speaking from a still semi-newbie perspective, would it be possible to add a glossary? I'm mostly referring to the SSE, SDE and RE. I think I have a reasonable idea what they all are, but I'd like to hear a more precise description who knows better than me. Great idea, though. Thanks for the info.

Are the XBR1's the only sets having this problem or do the A2000's and XBR2's have it as well? Is it something that has been remedied in newer versions of the TV's or might the Sony's being produced now have the same problem? I'm thinking about getting the 60" A2000 so any info would be appreciated.

that's a ridiculously nice system man. only thing i would have done differently is go with 2x10k rpm SATA drives instead of the SCSI's. but that's nothing to fret over. nicely done.

as far as the limited bass on the right speaker.....this is kinda elementary, but i just want to make sure you've got the wires hooked up correctly. if you've got the + and - reversed on one side you'll get sound still, but horrible bass.

i but stuff off ebay all the time. the key is to look at the seller's rating and number of reviews. if you have a seller with 3000 reviews 97.6% satisfaction rating then you should be alright. but if you see someone with 25 reviews and only a 50% satisfaction rating then stay clear of them...
