I have a Denon AVR-2500 taking up space in my closet. Great sounding receiver, but I had no further use for it when I upgraded. $200 in excellent condition in original box with everything that came with it. PM me for more details if you are interested.

I have recently upgraded some of my equipment and I now have good gear sitting in a closet. I have a Denon AVR-2500 receiver in outstanding condition in the box with remote and manual. This receiver has a very high output for its power class and it has what is likely the best remote Denon has...
You need to take this route from IE7: tools>internet options>browsing history settings (general tab)>view objects. Then you'll have the options I mentioned.
Ron, that enclosure will be perfectly fine. You should be able to install the drive in it in less than 5 minutes. It plugs into a USB port so no problem there either. I have no experience with Ghost or True Image so I don't know about any of the non booting issues Rob mentioned. I personally...
Tony, what you need is an external enclosure (for a 2.5" notebook drive) and a cloning program (True Image, Ghost, etc.). You can install your old HD into the enclosure and then use the cloning software to clone its contents to the new HD in your laptop. Then you can use your old hard drive in...
Most replacement notebook hard drives come with cloning/imaging software. I recently replaced my notebook's hard drive and cloned the old one with the Apricorn cloning software that came with it. It runs from a bootable cd so that the operation can be done without Windows running.
Thanks for the info Kenny. I long ago decided to just live with it. I'm too happy with the performance to let it bother me. Denon does need to get someone else to write their manuals. They've been terribly written as long as I can remember.
There are also an increasing number of new vehicles that have satellite receivers already installed from the factory. If you can find a car you like with Sirius already installed, then you'd be set and wouldn't have to send your new ride out to have an aftermarket system installed.
Gear is still up for grabs. I've lowered the asking price to attempt to get this stuff out of my closet and in the hands of a happy new owner. $50 for the Max-1000-*SOLD* $300 for the AVR-2500 Shipping offer remains the same.
The 3805 can power a second zone with it's internal amps. The setup mic runs about $60 and did a fantastic job of tuning the system for my listening room. I tried setting up manually at first with a RS SPL meter, but I couldn't get it quite right. On another note, I would much rather have naked...
As far as I remember, you don't have to register at all. You do, however, have to activate it, which is done online in a matter of seconds. I believe there is an option to call Microsoft and activate that way.

Sirius uses three satellites in eccentric figure-8 looking orbits that fly over central Canada at their northern point. A northwest facing antenna would be your best bet for satellite signals. However, antenna placement may not be a problem depending how far from Detroit you are, since Sirius...
Hi David, it is running 5.1. My surrounds speakers are connected to the surround A posts. Nothing is connected to surround B or surround back/multi zone. The only pre-out connected is my sub (at the sub connection).
