    Next Hanna-Barbera set?

This! I was a big fan of Galtar when I was a kid. Would love to see it as part of the archive. Glad to see the Gobots are being released. I'd love for the Snorks and the remaing seasons of the Smurfs to be released also.

More complete season DVD volumes of Hanna-Barbera's The Smurfs

Sadly, there has been no news of more Season or Half-Season sets.

WHV Announcement: Saturday Morning Cartoons 1980s

The 80s are my era so I'm definitely sold on this one (especially Thundarr).

    Dune (2021)

True enough and definitely a long shot of him ever touching this movie again. But I'll still have my fingers crossed.

    Dune (2021)

I'll just add that I still hold out hope for Lynch to offer an extended/special/director's cut of his Dune. At this point I know it's a huge longshot, but stranger things have happened I guess.

What Spielberg movies you didn't like and why?

I would go with these two movies as well.

What Spielberg movies you didn't like and why?

Same here. I never had a problem with Hook.

What are your 3 favorite Spielberg films?

If I have to pick only 3.... Jaws E.T. Raiders Although the list could change from time to time. You're not the only one who likes this movie.

Cult / Classic 80's films on DVD

Damnation Alley was supposed to be released by Anchor Bay a few years ago but never released it. I believe Fox was going to release it after that, but once again it disappeared.

TV on DVD/Blu Ray @ Big Lots: Anyone Confirm?

WOW! I need to make a trip to Big Lots. These look to all be WB titles.

    Sit Down & Shut Up

Wow, if it's buried on Saturdays at midnight it sort of is dead. I'll admit to having DVR'd all the episodes (4 I think), but haven't actually watched them.

DVD Review HTF DVD REVIEW: Watchmen: Director’s Cut: 2-Disc Special Edition

Same thing for me. I hadn't read a comic or "graphic novel" since I was a kid, but all the hype about the movie got to me and I finally read Watchmen. I thought it was fantastic, even though the Black Freighter stuff was kind of lost on me at first ( okay I get it now ). I thought the movie...

DVD Review HTF DVD REVIEW: Watchmen: Director’s Cut: 2-Disc Special Edition

I hope the Watchmen Ultimate Collector's Edition is available in a set without all the extra trinkets and physical items. I know some people love those things, but I'm not a fan of those huge oversized boxes. Just give me the 5-disc set!

    Transformers Season 1

Actually there was a full Season 3 and a 3-episode Season 4. Season 3 & 4 are post-movie, so they have all the new robots and space adventures.

    Future Hanna-Barbera DVDs

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a (Ruby-Spears)Thundarr the Barbarian release.

    OMG! Werewolf: The Series

Count me as another one who has heard a lot about this show, but has no memory of ever watching it. The clips I've seen give it an "Incredible Hulk with werewolves" vibe. I'll be getting this (hopefully the music rights don't cause too much of a problem).

Three Stooges Coll. Vol. 6 1949-1951, June 16

Oh man I really need to catch up. Every time I see a thread with a new announcement it reminds me that I need to start buying these sets!

Shout Announces: Complete Series Sets for G.I. Joe, Transformers

I keep thinking the same thing. I only have the first 3 Rhino Transformers sets (S1 & S2), so I should probably sell them and get the complete series. It's just that they look so nice sitting on the shelf.

Simpsons Season 20 (New HD Intro)

Yeah, it was pretty noticable. I remember at least a couple of times where Lisa was talking, but she was almost completely out of the frame.

question about He-man and Transformers and others

I'll throw a few out there off the top of my head. The He-Man series has been completely released. Season 2 was aired in 2 sections back in the 80's, but it was one long production season. Season 2 Volume 2 would probably be close to the "Season 3" the may have been shown on tv. There...

Paul Newman: When Time Ran Out

I remember watching this on televison when I was a kid and thought it was great! I take it from the posts above, if I watched this now, it wouldn't quite hold up.

    What's next for BCI?

Sad news indeed... I have to say that the Filmation sets done by BCI (especially the He-Man sets) were some of the best put together DVDs I've owned. I can safely say I was never disappointed with any of the BCI sets I bought. The news of BCI closing has reminded me I need D&D and...

"The Smurfs" TV series coming to DVD in the U.S.A.

I was hoping the same thing. The banner does say "HB Kids Collection", so maybe there still a S2 release coming down the line.

"The Smurfs" TV series coming to DVD in the U.S.A.

Interesting, perhaps we're jumping the gun here? It would be nice if this was a Season 2 Volume 1 with the same setup as the previous releases.

"The Smurfs" TV series coming to DVD in the U.S.A.

I'm also disappointed with the 1 disc-5 episode set up. I could live with the half-season releases, but this is a huge step down.

    Survivor: Gabon - Season 17

I doubt Ace could get any more douchy.

Mere words cannot fully express my admiration for DEADWOOD

I agree. I don't think the second season was "bad", but not as good as the first season. So I guess at this point the 4hr miniseries isn't happening?
