    Disappointed in WWE Wrestlemania Anthology

I have the WWE Wrestlemania Anthology Boxed Set and it is worth every penny. Instead of complaining about every single little thing, how about talking about what it does have. Sure, I miss having every theme song but sometimes you can't have it all. But this set *does* have the Jesse Ventura...

Suggestion for Paramount regarding ST Nemesis CE.

Please, don't turn this into a Star Trek Nemesis bashing thread, we've heard it all before, don't need a rehash. A lot of people, like myself, love Nemesis, and a lot of people do not like it, that also applies to every single film ever made (people hate/people like). The suggestion is valid...

The KoKo The Clown TV Cartoon Show 1916

Those were originally shown theatrically, they are not TV shows, both are a series of short films, the same also applies to Laurel & Hardy, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes...and that's just a short list.

The Star Trek Enterprise appreciation and Season 4 discussion thread (this one's for the fans).

I posted here earlier saying that 'These Are The Voyages...' was a 'good' episode, I take that back, I say now that it's pretty bad, I'd feel better about watching it if 'Star Trek: Enterprise' came back and fixed the problems of that episode atleast in some way. 'Terra Prime' was an emotional...

The Star Trek Enterprise appreciation and Season 4 discussion thread (this one's for the fans).

If you ignore a couple of unintentionally funny lines, 'Spock's Brain' is a great episode, on the other hand, 'These Are The Voyages...' is not. As many people point out, the ENTERPRISE finale is supposed be about the crew of ENTERPRISE, not the Enterprise-D, Riker, or Troi. Here are the...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol. 2 DVD Problem

What was strange about that was, Lion's Gate, for the volume 1 DVD, not only included an insert that meant nothing, but they also put the case inside of a slipcover with the same info as the regular cover. The insert meant nothing and the slipcover was a shiny, raised piece of cardboard that...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol. 2 DVD Problem

I brought this up in another thread that went unnoticed and I didn't see this mentioned anywhere so, on the Ninja Turtles Volume 2 DVD, episode 12, "The Catwoman From Channel Six" at 4 minutes and 1 second, you can see tiny pixels on the screen that last for about 5 frames, I had a feeling that...

    TMNT Season 3 in June?

I just got the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol. 2 today and I noticed something. On the episode "The Cat Woman of Channel Six" at 4 minutes and 1 second into the episode I noticed tiny pixels on the screen. If anyone has the DVD, please confirm this problem, or, hopefully, say that I have a bad...

The Star Trek Enterprise appreciation and Season 4 discussion thread (this one's for the fans).

I do not know if this was brought up before but, one thing about the Gorn, what we saw (in Part II) was the Mirror Universe Gorn, he was much quicker than the one we saw in the original Star Trek episode "Arena", just like how the Tholians were able to create their web so quickly. The Humans...

Star Trek TOS: What is the correct order to watch the DVD seasons sets?

I say watch them in airdate order. I think Paramount really messed up (and screwed with people's minds in the process) when they released the original videos in production order and not airdate order, atleast the LaserDiscs got it right. If NBC aired "Where No Man Has Gone Before" as the first...

Battlestar Galactica Boxset and Battlestar Movie.

I would keep both DVDs. As other people have stated, the theatrical cut is different than the TV version, the different scenes include Baltar's death, and as Starbuck and Apollo are flying above the planet near the end of the film, Starbuck has an extra line of dialogue that was mysteriously cut...

    Galactica 1980, anyone?...Anyone?

You know, to be honest, I have never noticed the so-called "cheese factor" of Battlestar or Star Trek and never will, if I want to watch something for the "cheese factor" I will buy the upcoming Batman and Robin 1949 Movie Serial DVD release because that is true "cheese". As I have said...

    Galactica 1980, anyone?...Anyone?

I do not think Universal would have anything to lose by releasing this set, I mean, it's more Galactica, and it was only 10 episodes (if you count the pilot as 3 seperate one hour episodes), you could have one quick featurette explaining problems the creators had with the show and/or the things...

New Rocky DVD Anthology? See POST #191 on UPDATE for those who did not receive bonus disc

I called the number almost a couple weeks ago, gave my address, and last week, I got a call saying they would send the bonus disc. About 2 days ago, I look in the mailbox and the bonus disc was there. Has anyone received their disc through the mail yet?

Long Menus-- We Don't Want Them!

I agree with the people who say, let the studios make all of the fancy motion menus they want, just allow us to skip it when we do not want to see it, along with the forced trailers and unusally long FBI warnings, etc. I think that's the way it should be, always. I love fancy motion menus.

Videodisc format, precursor to LD - anyone remember this?

I say if the person wants a CED player, then gosh darn it, I say he should get one :) I like all of them, CED, laserdisc, DVD, and sometimes VHS. To me, CED is better than VHS, I think CED discs live longer and VHS tends to have a brighter look to the picture, sometimes it washes out the...

    Sci-Fi's Battlestar Galactica miniseries opinions

If you won't say it, then I will... The 1978 Battlestar Galactica is FAR superior!!!! I did check out the newest episode of this new show (The title of this TV show just suddenly slipped my mind :D ) and it's the same doom and gloom, monotonus crud, even the main title sequence depicts...

    Sci-Fi's Battlestar Galactica miniseries opinions

If I can chime in here, I checked out the season premiere of the new Battlestar Galactica series and it was depressing, downright depressing. The real Battlestar Galactica (which I proudly own on DVD) was about hope and it had likeable characters, this new show has none, it has lots of...

New Rocky DVD Anthology? See POST #191 on UPDATE for those who did not receive bonus disc

I looked at that DVD review page again and I seen what the reviewer wrote about the cropped transfer, I must of missed it the first time around. The movie looks a little more cramped than before because of it being cropped. Just for the record, I got mine from BestBuy.com and it came with no...

New Rocky DVD Anthology? See POST #191 on UPDATE for those who did not receive bonus disc

I'm just wondering if anyone has compared the framing of the new 2004 Rocky DVD against the 2001 Rocky Special Edition DVD because I think there may be a problem, if you have both of them, check at the 56:50 mark and watch when the camera zooms in on Rocky, the new DVD seems to be missing some...

Buck Rogers in the 21st Century

I am very happy to have this set, I was not angry about not having the TV pilot, just simply puzzled about it's omission, as anyone would be, maybe I was a little more vocal about it, but, by looking at this thread and reading about how everyone loved the set, I thought the subject would never...

Buck Rogers in the 21st Century

No, I do not believe that "says it all", I did read that fine print but it boggles the mind. If they just had a good reason why they did not include the TV pilot on the "complete" TV series, maybe that would be the end of this discussion. This set is really fantastic and this discussion should...

Buck Rogers in the 21st Century

No, I don't want a "perfect" DVD set with needless extras. I just want to have all of the episodes, from the original TV pilot to the final episode and that's all, there is a missing episode on this set and I hope that Universal is aware of this so they can, possibly, do something about it.

Buck Rogers in the 21st Century

Well, I'm certainly not complaining about this set as it is a really nice one. But, what would be nice is an explanation from Universal as to why they omitted the pilot episode of the series. Lets see, first, they say on the back of the box, "This must-own, five disc collection presents the...

Buck Rogers in the 21st Century

Has anyone been able to contact Universal about this screw-up? I mean having the movie version of the pilot is great, but it's just an extra, one would think that on a "Complete Epic Series" package they would have the actual TV pilot on the DVD. I know it maybe a little early but I just thought...
