well the clone of the 1014 was tested in home theater mag for december and it shows 115 watt/ch all channels driven. I gurantee that is more than a 235 ;)

about 50-60 watts is what the pio has on the denon. The pio's mcacc is superior to many auto setups including denons. The pio will blow you away, it is just an awesome reciever that has been voted on AVSforum.com the best budget receiver of 2004, i own one and i love it.

im not sure what you crossover settings are, but with those teeny tiny JBL mains then you should probably set the CO to 100 or 120 depending on what your choices are, since the sc satellites roll-off 6db at 100 hz.

you usually want it double the lowest freq. your mains can play for 2 channel, and about 20 or so above the HIGHEST surround speaker.

it does have THX, the 5760 does not. ive heard both on the same set of speakers: jbl e60, and with no bass/treble processing or eqing, the 5790 had a much fuller low end.(hz)

i liked the 5790 better, but the 5760 seemed like it was anewer model/setup in menus and remote control functions than the 5760. The 5790 sounded better to me though.
