You will have plenty of power to drive any speaker from the Paradigm line. Later if you decide to add a better amp to the reciever you will improve the sound of your speakers.and be adding more power.
No I never heard the 10. I'm sure the 12 will go lower than the 10. the 12 is plenty fast to give you the quick tight bass you will need for music. The 12 plays really low for those movies.
Audio advisor is a top notch place to do buisness with. I purchased a MMF-5 turntable and cables and then later speaker stands. They ship fast and have a great sales team to answer questions. If they have the speakers you want and at a price you like ..........make the call.
I like the B&W's over the others you mentioned. The tweeter design seems much better than the Paradigms mentioned and for the Klipsh They are a bright speaker using the horn design. IMO the B&W's get the nod.
Go with the CC370 for the center it will match the mains better and if you ever upgrade your mains up the monitor line your center will be good all the way up to the Monitor 11's. I've owned the Paradigms and you will enjoy them very much............Go for the CC370 !
You may want to give some ELT's a look at from AV123.com these are great sounding speakers. Comes with all 5 speakers and powered Sub. Are you also in the need for a DVD player and receiver ?
Go separates for sure. The difference is huge between them and receivers . I am using the Emotiva and it does a great job with HT and in 2 channel audio it will give you goose bumps.:) It is a great Pre/Pro and Amp combo.
Myself I preferred the Seismic 12 over the Servo 15 and I prefer the SVS over them all. AS for the receivers can't say I have never owned any of those manufactures
A big yes ! You can build a Home Theater to surpass the local Theater . It will cost some $$$$$ though. I have done it and many more have to. You are able to select a speaker that you like for starters then add some low end bass set the seating the way you want it then get the video sources you...
Yes check to make sure this option is turned on and also you may have to manually activate it on the DVD menu that you plan to watch. On most DVD's DD is the default setting.
That sounds like a good start. Now just play around with the placement . Find some of you favorite music tracks and move them until you hear the best sound from them and there you go. Have fun:)
This Rotel remote was actually one of my favorite remotes. How much time have you given yourself to get use to it. I've always thought about buying one to replace when I sold my 1066 and 1065. Do you plan on keeping it or would you consider selling it ?
I had this very same set up before. I like the Idea of adding an extra amp for the mains. I used a Parasound HCA-3500 for the mains and just let the Rotel reciever handle the rest of the channels for HT. I believe the Rotel is under rated it will go to very good levels for Ht . But adding the...
