Same here. I was actually hoping the scrapbook disc would be included with A Dirty Shame to help boost sales since it didn't do too well theatrically.

I know it is poorly regarded but I'd like to see Paramount release a special edition of the 1976 remake to tie in as well. According to the IMDB the TV version had 45 minutes added to it. The troubled production would also make for an interesting documentary. Anyway I wanted the original...

I picked up the boxset at Zellers (shocked they even had it since they have the worst dvd selection for a retail chain) for $28.97. Raging Bull itself was $24.97.:confused:

White Dog has aired several times in the last few months on the "Scream" channel in Canada. Gives me hope that a dvd release isn't totally out of the picture.

It's too bad this is a Paramount title. After reading the "Alternate versions" & "Trivia" pages on the IMDB, this could have made a really interesting special edition. At best I'd say all we'll get is the R rated cut and maybe if we're really lucky the trailer.

Thanks Warren! That clears things up. I haven't been able to find it in any stores. I'm going to order it online but neither amazon.ca or dvdsoon listed any special features and since it's Alliance Atlantis you always have to make sure first.

The cover on the new FOOTLOOSE special edition scares me. It reminds me too much of the infamous REAL GENIUS cover.

Does anyone know if the Canadian (Alliance) release of CHOPPING MALL has the same features as the American release?

The music playing during that scene in the workprint footage is from the POLTERGEIST score. I wonder if Paramount secured the rights to that music? I didn't notice any mention of it during the dvd credits(but I wasn't really looking).
