Anyone remember Robert Patrick's "thingy" noticeable on T2? Was that ever "blurred" from the film or not many people noticed it?

Same here on my JBL EC35. It happens on certain movies, I thought that maybe the tweeter was bad or something but is not consistant with other movies, dvd-a & SACD surround. Also, it is very obvious in dplii with 2.0 or mono dvd's like mickey b&W / donald disney treasure shorts.

I go to Fry's & Best Buy sometimes just to buy DVD-A & SACD. I'd rather pay for a DVD-A that contains lyrics, videos, interviews, several mixes (like with DTS Entertaninment: DTS, DD 5.1, PCM 2.0, DVD-A). I use a dpr1001 as a preamp and a carver av505 as an amp. I hate the sound on the dpr1001. It also acted up from time to time with with weird sounds coming from the speakers, sounded like something taken out of TRON (no kidding)!

I love to go to Best Buy. Especially to mock salespeople. Can't wait for the: "find anything you like?" phrase when I'm in there.
