No. Some of their cars are actually real bargains, especially the M3's. Tight construction, wonderful design, top notch performance. At around $50000, it's a steal when compared to the Porsche Carreras or any other similar sports cars. You just can't convince me that the previous 3Gen. iPods...
I'd be perfectly happy with a 3Gen. model if I had one. From what I can see, the differences are minimal(same sound, HDisk space, etc.) And the 3G actually looks a little nicer, I think.
Paul, can't you just order one from the Apple Online store? I could care less about the ITunes music store. I rip from my CD's; either WAV or apple lossless. Can't stand lossy sound.
They're pretty decent, actually. As a college student, IKea is perfect for me. Functional and space saving. That being said, I HATE having to assemble the parts myself.
As long as the price is reasonable(as it is now), I'm fine with that. But there were sleeker players out there with better performance(Cowon) AT nearly a $100 less... That truly is a better value. Frankly, it's the chicness people were after. I guess you would say that Ferraris aren't...
Kyle, guess you're going to need to spend some money for a decent pair of noise-cancelling headphones. Or the Sony V6 seems to be a good choice, as everyone seems to recommend them. It seems like all noise-cancelling headphones under $100 sound like crap.
As I said, spin it however you want, but when you can get the same amount of HD space and longer battery life for $100 less, that IS overpricing. But happily, that is no longer the case. Just ordered my brand spanking new iPod.
Get the Sennheiser PX100. Couple sites claiming that it's actually better than the PX200. Gonna purchase them myself. At $40, it seems like a great buy. Anyhow, be sure to read these: http://www.dansdata.com/3senns.htm http://www.goodcans.com/HeadphoneReviews/porta.htm...
The value hasn't gone up. It's merely catching up with the likes of the iRiver H100 series, Dell DJ's and Cowon. Spin it anyway you like, Apple HAS been gouging the consumers with their high prices and accessories. That being said, I'm looking forward to upgrading.
He's obviously not a sure-fire HOFer, but he has been remarkably consistent over those years. If he ever does reach 500HR, it'll be interesting to see whether or not he's voted in.
Speaking of milestones, Fred McGriff only needed 7 more homers to reach the 500 plateau, but got cut by the Devil Rays. I still think he has a decent chance of getting into the HOF. I for one think longetivity should count for something.
I always thought the lows were a bit muddy on the PX-200
Should've waited. New iPods are coming out this week and the 40G version has a $100 price drop.
"Newsweek leaks new iPod designs" http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/...17/ipoddesign/ The new 'pods will have 60G of storage space but without the rumored color screen. Hitting stores in September, just before the Holidays. Guess it's time for me to upgrade my old 10G version.
The PX200's are very nice headphones. I've been using them with my iPod. The bass is decent, nothing too special but it beats the hell out of the little plugs that came with the iPod.
