The Servo v.1 has been discontinued guys, not the v.2, the v.2 is brand new, it has 1200 watts compared to the v.1's 400 watts.

I did a back to back test in my home with a Servo 15 v.2 and my SVS PB12-Plus/2 and it was no comparison. Fills the room, literally. This thing is a monster, I still can't believe how big it is sometimes. I wish it were smaller but I cannot complain about its performance, its simply walks, no, runs all over every other sub I've tried.

I had a Denon 1600 before I bought my Elite 59AVi, there is no comparison, the 59AVi blows away the 1600. Nothing wrong with ther 1600 if you're happy with it, but there are far better players on the market nowadays.

All of the movies look better than previous releases, the second movie looks REALLY improved. As for extra's, there is a 6th disc tucked inside the box in a sleeve. Its the A&E special. Overall, I'm glad I bought the new set, its been worth it.

I have Studio 60's and an Elite 56TXi and I have none of the problems listed above, it sounds absolutely fantastic, even when driven hard for long listening sessions.

OK, I've been to a few dealers today looking at speakers, I've narrowed down my choices to these two sets. I'd like your personal opinion on which you would choose and why. I am using a Pioneer Elite DV59-AVi DVD/SACD/DVD-A Player and Pioneer Elite 56TXi Receiver. Here are my choices...

Rowan, personally I don't think the $499 Onkyo HTIB can be beat in its price range, nothing under $500 touches it.

Edward, I certainly agree, I liked it calibrated better just slightly above reference level for music, maybe 2-3dB, movies are a different story, I like about 5-6dB above reference but you are correct, running that hot for movies makes music sound like poopoo!:thumbsdown:

Got mine today too, GF thought it was ugly, said it looked like a water heater, but after listening to it for a while she's "warming" up to it......no pun intended. :D What's really funny is that I had the sub turned way up just for showing off, then I calibrated it to reference levels, 75-85dB...

Damn if I didn't order my sub to the wrong address, I guess I didn't notice, but I transposed my address number, it was supposed to be 89 and I had it shipped to 98. This sucks, I'm going to have to walk down the street and tell my neighbors to tell the UPS mam that the address was a mistake...

I am considering the following setup: Swan 5.2BC or 6.1BC for front speakers Swan C3BC for the center speaker Swan 2.1 for rear surrounds SVS sub(recommendations?) How would these compare to the Paradigm Monitor 7 series or some of the other setups under $2500? There is no way for me...

Couldn't agree more Gary, you covered it all. The Xbox is so superior to the PS2 in video and sound its not even close.

Certainly thought about that, but in my opinion if you buy a piece of high end equipment you shouldn't need to use the warranty. If you do, then it wasn't worth buying to start with. But that being said, if I could save a few hundred bills over buying it locally through an authorized retailer...
