Oh I've been through the manual plenty of times and the feature that I want is "stereo" mode. It supposed to bypass the sub but it doesn't.

Your going to have your mains in the wall as well? I would think you might have some sound issues with your center and mains if your center is out in front and your mains are inside the wall.

I Think you can find Mini's from dealers for around $300 a pair. The 370 center should be right around $350.....fairly sure on this. But it's been a while since I've priced these.

Well the strong point with the HK would be the room EQ feature it has. I recently purchased the HK 435 as a pre-amp and I'm pretty impressed with the EQ. It really made a difference in my overall HT sound quality.

If you did bottom out the Ultra you have it way way too loud. Also, bottoming out your sub won't hurt anything if you only do it a few times. NOT something recommended of course, but it won't kill your driver if it only happens a few times. I suggest you get it all set up and properly...
