It's MPEG compression artifacts. Fast moving action requires more bandwidth, and if the available bandwidth can't handle it, the picture quality suffers (pixelation). My local NBC station multicasts on their digital channel, and the HD Olympics have looked like crap. :thumbsdown: I hear...

May be too late by now, but I figured out you have to set the tuner to have PCM digital output (or use an analog output) in order for a non-Circle Surround equipped receiver to use Pro Logic. Matt

Does your receiver indicate it is getting a DD 5.1 signal? It might think it's receiving 5.1, and consequently not apply Pro Logic. You might have to change the output of the cable box from "Dolby Digital" to "PCM". See if that's possible. For the speaker, I think you would want 100Hz. No...
