Perhaps the best way to read the tea leaves here is to check Disney+. Unless "SOM" has been upgraded to 4K on Disney+ (and it hasn't as of this writing), then the chance of a 4K Blu release is probably unlikely.

Confirming the discrete multichannel soundtrack. The 4K disc offers Dolby Atmos/TrueHD 7.1 (the Blu-Ray disc uses 5.1 DTS HD-MA). I don't have Atmos capability but was very pleased with the 4K disc audio playback on my 7.1 system.
