    HELP!! I need to record from 5.1 audio

    I have a Sony DAV-HDX275 home theatre system. I'm trying to record the rear surround channels. I tried a speaker-to-line adaptor and got no signal. Can anyone suggest how I can record these channels? If I try using the speaker line directly I trigger the power shutdown of the unit.
