I'm anxious for a new Match Game release, I hope that gets started soon. I'm also hoping for another Password set. Basically anything with Betty White would be lovely. Great job on all the DVDs!
I spoke with a "technician" at Buena Vista and was told it was a "source material issue" because it was "such an old show that back then nobody knew they were going to release these things on home video." :rolleyes
Interesting that this was bumped. Yesterday I had to travel with a DVD but didn't want to bring a whole digipack with me. I had a extra keepcase (where it came from, I couldn't tell you) and put the disc in there. Later when I looked at the underside of the disc clouding had appeared on it. (I...
It's actually 5 discs. I'm puzzled as to why they would add a disc and downgrade the packaging at the same time. I guess some would say that IS why they downgraded the packaging, but they had no problem putting 26 episodes on 4 discs before. Anyway, I too am sick of the crappy packaging and...
They did, and as was explained by Gord and/or Dave, it was beyond their control. The song was so expensive it was either replace it or no more releases ever.
I have the entire series on DVD and I remember him singing a lot. I can't say for sure that everything is there, but as Matthew said, it probably would have been discovered already.
The Beat Goes On is very Kelis, it sounds like it belongs on her Tasty album. The chorus on Dance 2Night sounds so familiar. It's very reminiscent Aaliyah's Rock The Boat. Spanish Lesson seems like some JLo reject. Incredible is not at all. Really, the only song I'm liking here is Give It To Me.
I haven't had a single problem with Amazon in the 6 or so years I've been ordering from them. We're talking hundreds of transactions. Clearly they had a problem getting copies of your set, but I doubt it was their fault.
In the booklet for the season 1 DVD, the synopsis for "Father Knows Dick" does not describe that episode. It refers to Dick being "pudding whipped" and Sally, Tommy, and Harry playing Monopoly. I can't seem to find which episode that actually is. Does anybody know anything about this?
I didn't even mention the fact that when they messed up season 7 of Golden Girls, and offered replacements, they lost mine! I had to buy a new copy, which thankfully didn't have the faux widescreen episodes this time.
As I'm sure anyone who has these sets can attest to, there are frame rate issues on many episodes across both of these sets. Today I spoke with a "technician" at Buena Vista Home Entertainment who claimed that it is a source material issue. He said they were stored poorly because "years and...
I need to replace a disc from a Frasier set. I searched on the relevant websites, I think, and I can't seem to find any contact information. Does anyone know the e-mail?
I've never seen this series but would buy it in a heartbeat. I enjoyed the crossovers on TGG and I would love to see more of Sophia. Also, I want The Golden Palace!
Personally I'm sick of seeing announcements for animated series almost on a daily basis. Great for the people who buy them, but there was only a handful of decent sitcoms this year as opposed to an onslaught of animation, dramas, and to a lesser extent, reality shows.
