Eric- I guess I should clarify the 4805 rebate. The special pricing has ended but there is still a rebate for a free 76" screen and 30' S-video cable when you purchase the projector. This doesn't end until March 31st.

Unless you are connecting via S-video, don't let this known issue scare you away. The black levels are still superior to the NEC although this is a also a good panel. If you are leaning towards the NEC, then I suggest the 42VR5- this is the residential version and has a 3 year onsite warranty.
