I have a pair of JBL L-100s purchased in 1972. They have the original drivers and are used daily in the home theater. Todays Amps have made them sound better and better with the added power.

If you already have a mix and match set of speakers try them and use them before you go out and buy a whole new set. Invariably even with identical speakers, placement will change their sound characteristics to some degree as well as the adjacent surface materials.

Try a couple of mouse pads under the speaker and see if that will stop your vibration
