    Problem with DVB318

Thanks for the reply Christopher; I checked the manual and it said the DVD player could play DVD+R but no mention of DL DVD+R so that could be the problem.

    Problem with DVB318

Hi guys First sorry if this is the wrong section to post this but it seemed most appropriate to me. I borrowed a dual layer dvd from my friend and wanted to watch it but when I put the dvd in my zenith dvb318, it just gave me a blank screen and didn't do anything else. I couldn't press...

    JBL Northridge

I've had JBL E series for about a year and for their price i am completely satisfied. I also have the e250 sub and its pretty solid. I haven't heard an svs but when you crank up the 250, IMO it rocks

JBL e60 and e80 comparsion and how much is too much

Buy what sounds best to you. I auditioned the e80 and 90 and went with the e90 and am very satisfied with my choice. Also as mentioned above, buy online and save a lot of money.

    Need a dvd player

Nick I will see if I can get the Zenith DVD player you are talking about. As far as the budget goes, I was going to buy the x1 for 900 bucks until I heard about the 4805. So i've already gone way over my budget and I am trying to avoid spending more as much as possible. Zeeshan T.

    Need a dvd player

Hey guys i'm about to purchase a 4805 and was going to use it with my old panasonic dvd player however, the panny does not have component or s-video outs so i thought i should get a new dvd player. I would prefer a dvd player from best buy b/c my cousin works there and can get me a discount...

    JBL E250P best deal around?

E250 is a great sub. I jus got mine last week and it sounds great for its price. Fred for your 7.1 setup i was wondering what you are using as your rear and surrounds. I currently have e90s, ec35, and e250 but i am not sure what i want to use for the rear. I was originally going with e20s but...

    HK vs Onkyo

Both are very good receivers in their own respect. I ended up going with the H/K 430 b/c i liked the way it looked. As far as watt ratings go, from what i have read H/K receivers tend to be well underrated. Bottom line both are very good receivers with their advantages and disadvantages. My...

Is this screen size too big?

Depends on your seating distance. If you can sit back about 16 ft, i think the picture quality will be fine. Also the projectors you have chosen are pretty much entry level projectors...my point there are not very bright. So your throw distance will also be very important as well as ambient...

    H/K Reliability

I've been looking for a good receiver and i finally decided to get either a avr 430 or 630. I've been searching for cheap prices and have seen many refurbished H/K units on the market and have been worried about their reliability. I want to get a good receiver that lasts a long time because i...

    Where to buy blackout fabric?

I think it would be somewhat difficult for you to make a 100 inch screen from the material b/c it is 54 inches in height. I am sure you could do 96, but 100 may be pushing it. Cost is about 6 bucks a yard.

    JBL Northridge or B&W 600 S3

I would go with the JBLs because one they will be cheaper, two you have a good receiver to complement the power, and third b/c i have demoed the JBLs and i think they sound wonderful for their price. Hope this helps

    Home Theater suggestions

Phillip, I before i posted this thread, the other alternative i had thought of was the infocus x1. This was my choice b/c i really like the dlp technology. I have been shopping around and haven't found a dlp tv (over 50 inch) for less than $3000. I think i will purchase the x1 a nice screen...

    dish 322 or 522

Does anyone have experience with either one of these dual turner receivers? I am interested in purchasing the 322 so i can save $5 a month. I was wondering does anyone know how they remote works for the second television (i mean does it have to be at an angle or is it 360 degrees)? Any...

    InFocus Question

I am also new to this but i have been researching this for the past week. I think you should go for the x1. I know the x1 has an awesome contrast ratio and i believe it has a 1000 lumens. If your room is fairly dark, i would suggest saving that extra $300 and buy an x1. You could spend some of...
