I've had JBL E series for about a year and for their price i am completely satisfied. I also have the e250 sub and its pretty solid. I haven't heard an svs but when you crank up the 250, IMO it rocks

You will be very happy. DVD's look amazing and even standard tv is pretty darn good

Buy what sounds best to you. I auditioned the e80 and 90 and went with the e90 and am very satisfied with my choice. Also as mentioned above, buy online and save a lot of money.

I think it would be somewhat difficult for you to make a 100 inch screen from the material b/c it is 54 inches in height. I am sure you could do 96, but 100 may be pushing it. Cost is about 6 bucks a yard.

I would go with the JBLs because one they will be cheaper, two you have a good receiver to complement the power, and third b/c i have demoed the JBLs and i think they sound wonderful for their price. Hope this helps
