I have had my Onkyo 601 for about a year. I love it for 85 watts per channel at 8 ohms I would compare it to any $500 dollar reciever.

My Hitachi will turn on automaticaly if I have a setting in the menu set to Auto input sensor. It's in the "name the inputs" on my tv.
