    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Well, I finally got around to hooking-up my new home theater system which included a BIC v1015 sub. I must say that not only does the sub look impressive it sounds wonderful. For the price, I just can't believe what this baby puts out. The bass is crisp and clean. I have NOTHING negative to say...

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Hello Michael_H. Sorry for the delay in my review of the BIC subwoofer I purchased. I received the subwoofer yesterday from BIC (shipping delays). It is a V-1015. I am going to hook-it-up this weekend and will post a review next week. Although I haven't powered it up, I will say that it "looks"...

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

FYI, I got the BIC v1020 sub from ebay for $130.00 (direct from BIC factory - $150 total-shipping). About the same price as the Dayton. Thanks for all the input. I'll post a follow-up (review), once I hook-it-up. Thanks again. Great forum!!!!

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Ok thanks. It may be tough to get the v1015 since it has been discontinued, apparently, but I'll try. I don't think I could go wrong w/ either-one, though, based on your input, along w/ others.

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Chris, I noticed that there is a BIC v1020 AND a v1015. The v1020 supposedly has 160 watts RMS, 350 watts peak. The v1015 (replaced D101R - retail $350) has 250 RMS watts, 600 watts peak. Both are about the same price ($160ish), but the v1015 has more punch, apparently. Any suggestions? I...

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Thanks Andy. Like the other recommendations I got from the board (Dayton and BIC) I don't know much about subwoofers at all. I take it the velodyne VX10GY is a good one? Michael

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Hey Chris. I noticed that BIC offers a "silver" sub for the V1020 (listed as v1020s). Plenty of sites available to purchase. Can't find a pic for it though. Anybody have any input? Also, it looks like I have to decide on one of the two.......Dayton 10" or the BIC v1020....decisions...decisions...

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Ok. Thanks again Chris. I guess this topic (i.e, powered subs for $100-$200)has "saturated" threads on this forum in the past(i.e.,not much response).

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Ok Chris. Thanks. Didn't mean to cause any problems. So I take it that you still think the BIC V1020 is still worth consideration?

Tiny Mity II vs. Sony SA-WM20 vs. Sony SA-WM500 vs. SVS 25-31PC+

If the new DLS is as good as their previous offering minus the amp issue? Then the DLS has allot to offer for the $$ imo. Not all (can) or (will) put such a priority on their bass or speakers. So the DLS deserves to be a strong consideration for the market that it serves, in my mind anyway. For...

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Ok, so I take-it that the Hsu powered-subs/products you've mentioned (i.e., STF-2 and RTR 120)are worth a look at? I'm new to the forum and have been "surfing" it a lot today to try a find some info. There is a lot of discussions about the Dayton 10" 100 watt downfiring sub. Any comparisons w/...

    Powered Subwoofer for around $100-$150ish?

Thanks Chris. I don't know much about BIC products. $165 is doable, but barely. I'll take a look at the two you listed. Thanks again.
