Bought an Oculus Quest 2 back in February, and I'm loving Room VR. Still playing a heavily-modded (non-VR) Skyrim of course, and the Enderal "conversion." The Steam Summer Sale is happening right now, so I bout a bunch of stuff that I don't have time to play...but I'm really looking forward to...
I can't speak for other places, but the company I work at does everything in its power to keep prices as low as we can. We've had relationships with many of these suppliers for well over 30 years. They won't gouge us.
Curious: how big is the package of bacon you mentioned?
I work at a meat company in NJ (bookkeeping and IT). Prices are going through the roof at the moment.
I live in the same building as my parents. My mom has a very compromised immune system, so my sisters and I are extra, extra, extra careful around my house. I haven't taken public...
Enjoying Grim Dawn right now. I get a kick out of reading forums and seeing YouTube videos of GD "veterans" listing what you need to do to get the "best build" for your character. I just maxed out her fire abilities and enjoy watching her kill everything around her with fire...
Still need to...
I'm a Larson fan, too, and I consider her casting as CM as brilliant as them getting Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man. Plus there's the added bonus of her in skintight rubber... :D
Yeah, it's been quite some time since this topic had any new posts, but I just had to...
I played the PC version of Skyrim from its release back in 2011 until some time in 2014, when I migrated to a new PC, and the game got kind of wonky when I ported it over to the new box. I had logged 276...
I'm dog person...
I'm known to do a bit of gaming, and there are some RPGs that are quite taxing on a system (Witcher III and a heavily modded Skyrim spring to mind). The fact that it's great for everyday tasks is gravy...
I do have a few pics of the internals that I'll post here when I get a chance. I may have overstated how much money I saved by building my own. I was probably factoring in the Dell extended service plan (among other things). Maybe it was more of a $500 savings, but I'm still pretty darn happy...
Well, it's up and running, and it was well worth the effort. I now have a big, powerful rig that cost at least $1,500 less than the comparable Alienware I was looking at. I'd post a pic, but it's just a big black box.
Still working on it. I work really long hours, so I've only had an hour or two each night to work on it. Whoever said "it's just like assembling Lego" is lying.
There are boxes, plastic envelopes, screws, cables, you name it, strewn all over the dining room table and my desk. It's a disaster...
Witcher 3 and Skyrim are neck and neck for the greatest RPGs of all time. There are moments in Witcher 3 that stand with the best fiction I've read...
I started Dragon Quest XI (may as well put the PS4 I got for Christmas two years ago to good use), and it's a hoot, although I'm already...
After 25 years as a PC owner (first was an IBM 486, most recent an Alienware Aurora R5), I've decided it's high time that I built my own. It's a little on the "high end" side, and rest assured that I do NOT have "deep pockets," I just like to get three or four years where my PC can run whatever...
I gave up on playing Uncharted 2 for the time being. I finished it the first time around, so I decided to start playing Uncharted 4. I'm a few hours in and stuck at the sliding puzzle while trying to reach the castle, so I'll leave it alone for a little while...
That said, until now, I used...
I bought The Uncharted Collection for PS4 because I never got to play the first installment. I decided I wanted to replay 2 & 3 before diving into 4, and I'm stuck (already) near the beginning of 2, where you have to stealthily take out a bunch of guards. I had NO problem with this during my...
Thanks, Russell! I already have Media Player installed, but I'd like to be able top pop in video files that I have saved on DVDs and watch them without having to first copy them to the PS4's HDD. I have no problem with using the USB port, it's the disc limitations that I hate .
Question (sorry if this was answered elsewhere):
I have a PS4 Pro, and I absolutely HATE that I can't play media files and scroll through pictures burned to DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. without first copying them to the internal hard drive. Does the Xbox One have this same limitation?
 There was a mod that removed that line of dialogue from the game!
*sigh* :
She was DEADLY, too...her Archery skills were maxed out, and since I had her explore the world in stealth mode, she was damn near invisible. Enemies would be inches from her face and have no idea she was about...
According to Steam (I played the PC version), I spent 276 hours playing Skyrim, without even coming close to finishing the main quest. I didn't even remember what the main quest was after a while; I was having too much fun exploring the seemingly hundreds of sidequests to be bothered with a...
Yeah, I had a 40Gb PS3. I got the Yellow Death late last year when scrolling through a bunch of pictures and videos I had burned to a BD-R. It's the only system I've ever owned that's failed on me. I got a PS4 Pro for Christmas when my situation was discovered by my family. I'm not a big fan...
But what do we really know about a dragon's attitude? Like I said, it's just a theory I have. But yeah, I could see people being P.O.'d if that were to happen...
I've brought up a theory of mine to quite a few people today that's been on my mind since last week's episode, and something was said last night that really makes me think I'm on to something:
My favorite scene throughout the whole series (Season 3?) was when Daenerys announced that "A dragon...
We have a HP LaserJet 3015n printer at my job that we use to print worksheets on standard 8 1/2 by 11" paper. The page contains a mix of text and a barcode, so a standalone barcode printer (i.e. Zebra) won't do the job. The barcoding software is a on a USB stick manufactured by HP called...
I was pleasantly surprised to find out yesterday that there's a new Steam Sale lasting until November 29, and so far, this one is a doozy! I just picked up the new DOOM for $19.79 (67% off, but beware that it's a 71GB DOWNLOAD!, Yes, you read that right; 71 Gigabytes!).
They've also got my tow...
Planet Coaster. I may suck at designing amusement parks, but that didn't stop me from playing with it until 2AM yesterday morning! Although the controls can be a little quirky and hard to pick up (no decent tutorial), it's a blast! And because there are already +20,000 mods and blueprints...
Just started Fallout 4. Don't know how far I'll go with it, but it's KINDA fun so far. Got it for $40 in yet ANOTHER Steam Sale (on right now, BTW), so I won't feel too bad if I abandon it somewhere down the road. Too many games, too little time...
The Steam Winter sale started today and runs through January 4. Unlike recent years, there are no 12 and 24 hour specials so far. I'm planning to drop a few dollars on some "hidden object" games. They're quite relaxing for those days where I don't want to kill things...
I'm gonna get the...
