Any word or reviews about the showing of THE SEARCHERS restored version at the TCM Film Festival ?

Years ago I purchased a widescreen streaming version of THE MUSIC LOVERS on Amazon. It has full stereo sound. It may be only SD but the stereo sound is fantastic.

The December 31, 2024 release date is ridiculous. I’m sure it will be streaming in 4K long before that date.

It says 4K because it is available in 4K on MGM plus The Misfits and Midnight Cowboy are also in 4K on MGM plus

Why is there still no word about THE SEARCHERS on a disc and digital released in 4K or being shown on MAX in 4K? Last year RIO BRAVO and EAST OF EDEN were both shown on MAX. There is also no news for NORTH BY NORTHWEST. Very concerning.

A Dry White Season which was never available on ITunes is now available for purchase in 4K for $14.99. Also The Fortune Cookie, Eye of the. Needle and Odds Against Tomorrow are available for purchase in HD.

Interesting Apple TV does indicate 4K but when I play it ...only HD

DON'T LOOK NOW has been upgraded to 4K DOLBY VISION. Great news considering it had been recently released in 4K on Criterion.

On Max today two titles that say “NEW” are North by Northwest and The Searchers. I have not checked to see if they are restored.

The artwork of the cover and a few other parts of the program was done by a famous artist at the time, Peter Max.

I truly enjoyed the new 4K of Paint Your Wagon. I even got my program I bought when I went to see it in a reserve seat engagement.that played for 36 weeks.
