I've just purchased a new TV about 3 months ago. Whenever I turn to either QVS or HSN the white box that has the product info slowly starts to turn blue. The longer I leave it on the "bluer" it gets. When I change the channel the blue remains but slowly fades away after a while. What's going on...
I recently just purchashed the Yamaha YHt 340 which is right in your price range. IN my opinion its a pretty powerful system you can check out my review at http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/it...iews/502399487 I've never heard a pc 5.1 system so i can't really help you in that area. The term...
Review on Yamaha YHT340 Setup The setup of the HTIB was pretty straight- forward. I did have a little difficulty however with inserting the speaker wire into the terminals in the rear of the receiver. If you push the wire too far into the terminal the wire won’t make contact with the...
Your in luck. I just purchased the YHT340 last week hoping it would be worth it since i couldn't find a single review about it online. I finally got it setup and watched Clone Wars and all I can say is WOW. The sound sounded so real! The highs were crisp were you need them and the bass was right...
The doc did say jigawatts in the movie i just watched it today. I'm with Robert with the rope light idea. I have them on my HT setup so they create a cool blue glow when i watch movies.
I just recieved my YHT 340 that i ordered last week! Its a great system! I'm only running analog right now b/c i haven't had the time to buy an optical cable but when i do i'll provide a full review on it. John
The headphones are going to be mainly used for just watching movies. Comfort is pretty important b/c i'll probably be wearing them for hours at a time. Out of the two though i'm starting to lean towards the Sennheiser hd600s
my only concern is buying the dvd player from ecost. Their shipping rates are really high. I'm not sure what it would be for the player but i know the htib i was looking at was $150. Thats half of the actual product cost!
I'm looking for a decent pair of headphones under $100 for my HT b/c sometimes I watch movies late at night. Can anybody give me some recomendations? So far the main company i'm looking at is schensier (i have no idea how to spell there name;) )
I just ordered a 5.1 surround system. I want to mount the speakers on the wall using speaker brackets, but i'm not sure where i should put the speakers. Should I mount them on the front and back wall or in the corners of the room since it is a 9X9 bedroom?
Steve, check out the Yamaha Cinema series. They are about the same size as the BOSE units but about a $1000 cheaper. I just purchased the YHT340 which appears to have pretty small satelites. I'll let you know how it performs when i recieve it next week.
I'm interested in upgrading to HDTV since more and more networks are starting to offer a lot more programming. I recently bought a new Phillips TV that is not HD. Is it possible to get HD on my tv using some kind of convertor? What exactly do I need to go to HD and how much should i expect to spend?
In my never ending search for a HTIB I came across the Yamaha YHT 440. Does anyone have this system? If so can you tell me what it sounds like and how you feel about it. The store i'm buying it from has it for 499, if anyone knows anywhere where i might be able to find it any cheaper please let...
I've been shopping around for about a month for a HT for my bedroom. I have a budget of about $400. I originally planned on buying a Yamaha home theater but the other night I came across a refurbed Onkyo Ht-S760 system on ecost.com for about $340. Has anyone had any problems before with refurbed...
I'm looking at a Yamaha speaker set that comes with a reciever. The model I'm looking at is YHT340. They are rated at 85 watts per channel, the room these will be installed in is 10x10. Are these powerful enough for the room? What is the sound quality of Yamaha in general? Are these worth...
I'm pretty new to the home theater scene. I'm looking to purchase a system for a bedroom in my house thats about 10x10. The main system that I'm looking at is the Yamaha YHT340. Is this a pretty good system? I've used Yamaha products in that past and have been very impressed with their recievers...
