Lutron Spacer Installation 101 (Rev. 1/17/06 - Adding IR Emitters)

Jay; What kind of distance are you refering to? The room I have mine in is 26FT long and I have no problem controlling the master with the GE controller I got for my Spacer system. The master is on the opposite side of the room from my switches and it works flawlessly. I wonder if...

    7.1 surrounds mono,bi or dipole?

My set up is almost exactly what you describe that you want with the exception that I have the m80's in front, M3Ti's in the rear with SVS 20-39 PCi sub. The QS8's are perfect to me for all my listening but exceptionally great for movies. I personally like the effect of the quad surrounds...

    Power conditioners and amps

The Intermatic PanelGuard IG1300-4T-2C seems to be the only one that covers power/cable/phone. Since I have identified a buzz in my speakers that goes away when I unplug the cable from the house I think I should cover that. Any other suggestions Chu? Mark

    Amplifier Ohms

Thanks. The amp is a Rotel RMB 1095. I might be buying the amp to drive front(400W), surround sides(400W), and rear speakers(175W). I will probably get the 2 channel for the fronts(400W). I am also looking at the Parasound and Sunfire. Mark

Ok... So far I am leaning to Parasound and Rotel. They both seem like good value for the dollar and have plenty of positive reviews. Any other suggestions? Any specific feedback on either brand in the 2 and 5 channel @ 200-400W models? Mark

    Amplifiers

The more information I get the better off I will be. So maybe more information for y'all would help. Front mains will be 4ohm, center and surround bipols 6ohm, and 8ohm for the rears with a self powered sub. My price point for all 7 channels on my new system will be somewhere around...
