I hadn't noticed the really-really low frequency in BHD, so I fired it up on my IBs (don't use a high-pass filter). Of course I couldn't hear it...it just modulated the room surfaces. I'll offer a theory that it is the beat frequency of 2 helicopters running at slightly different speeds.

Don't think you mentioned which amp you are using, but many of the PE plate amps have only a 12db per octave xo network which is not steep enough to prevent localization. You can try dialing the xo to the lowest xo frequency...but best to switch to a higher order filter. Either an external...
