Out of those three for under 1k I would definatly go with Premeire. I've used Premeire for the past few years and love it (although the system requirements are pretty high).

Video is the most resource intensive thing for a computer. For a HTPC that is usably fast I would recommend at a MINIMUM a nice Pentium 3. However atleast Pentium 4 or Athlon XP is recommended.

I have my HP Deskjet 6127 and love it. It has a hp jet direct wired print server built in, then just stick a cheap wireless ethernet bridge into the network slot on it and your done (or like in my case it's plugged into a wireless access point).
