    Widescreen TV

Check out the 50 inch GWIII from Sony. I have one right now and it's amazing. I have yet to see a more clear and sharp picture on a tv before. The colors rock and it's got plenty of brightness and off viewing angles for daytime viewing. No burn in is a big plus too.

    DolbyIIx vs Thx Ultra 2?

Actually if you look at Dolby's site it says it will convert 5.1 DD signals to 7.1 as well. While thx ultra may work better, this is a good option for us not able to shell out around 2k for an Ultra2 reciever.

Thanks for your input, it seems in looking around most people feel the same way. The features on the 2400 edge out the Denon 3803. I really liked hearing dolbyIIx, it will make my 2 rear speakers get a bit more use on just normal 5.1 tracks. Plus the setup mic is awesome. Thanks! What if i...

    Klipsch compared to *blush* Bose

Anything can sound better than Bose imho. My Promedia 5.1's for my pc from Klipsch will blow away a Bose "Home Theater" speaker system, and they are only meant for the pc! Not sure about Klipsch's Home Theater speakers but there computer ones are dam fine.

    Xbox as Main Dvd Player?

Your honestly better off spending the $150 on a stand alone. You also have to buy the remote pack to use it. My brother also has an xbox with the dvd kit and i tried it on my setup. Nothing too special at all, i'm sure for the same price you can get alot better, it's not even progressive scan...
