So.... to get back to my question: Has anyone noticed some video noise during the waterfall scene on the first disc? Just struck me as strange.

I got the series on hd-dvd and I noticed some noise in the picture especially during a waterfall scene on the first disc. I was surprised to see the noise. Anybody else notice that?

I couldn't find it on sale ANYWHERE. Yeah I tried everything. I had to get one off of ebay, but I got a pretty good deal. This thing better be worth it.

I was looking at the Rotel 1052 and it looks like the amp I'd like to get, BUT I can't find it anywhere. Any idea on where I can find it, or a newer model thats still being sold?

20 million is a luke-warm number to me. It's not bad but it could be much better if marketing and title support got bumped up. It seems to me that there is a lot of interest in sacd, but the keg hasn't been tapped, so to speak. Anybody know how many sacd players have been sold in 5 years?

Exactly. Which is the whole reason it should be on one disc. They could figure out something. Like anyone's gonna know the difference out there between dts and DD anyway. Most people will listen to it in 2.0 anyway. They wouldn't notice the sound diff most likely but they WILL be annoyed...

I bought the LOTR extended cut and it was on two discs too. It's always annoying to change discs, isn't there some way to squeeze it in there? Take out the 2 or 3 audio tracks that noone uses anyway, or extra crap? I personally prefer 2 disc sets. You know which disc is which just by looking...

I was lucky enough to get a jvc n5sl player. It's the best display I've ever seen. Worth about $300 a jvc's site, I got it for 95 @ amazon.
