My ideal Atmos home theater would be a room where I can immerse myself in the latest surround experience, while still at home! The new Denon receiver can do that!
I want to win beause I'm currently in the process of finishing my basement, and plan on pre wiring for Atmos speakers anyway, for future upgradability...but it'd be nice to be able to take advantage of the tech right away.
BestBuy.com: General Exclusions: This Plan does not cover repairs caused by accidental or intentional physical damage, spilled liquids, insect infestation, misuse, abuse, altered serial numbers or damage caused by non-authorized repair personnel. Also not covered are replacement costs for lost...
Actually I work for Futureshop, which is owned by Best Buy Canada, and we have identical coverage as we use the same insurance company, and they "DO NOT" cover the bulbs. Sony covers you for the first year, and thats it. It is considered a consumable, and therefore is not covered by Best...
I work at Futureshop, and we do carry the 1015, just haven't seen one in my store yet, although that's nothing new for my store. Keep checking, the sku's in our system so either us or Best Buy carries it.
I'm shocked you haven't had a problem with your apex, yet. Anyway if you are gonna get a divx DVD player, get the LG (think its the 510 model). Plays divx and xvid, phillips wont play xvid.
The only time I EVER recommend Bose, is to people who want the best small speakers they can find. Thats what your paying for, the size, and the research behind getting "big" sound out of small speakers. That being said I personally hate Bose. They sound very flat(no highs, no lows, must be...
WOW, some people REALLY dont like polk audio around here. They've done no wrong by me, infact I just added a pair of R15 for my rears, and couldn't be happier. One thing I will say is that I think they have a cleaner high end on them this year(the RTi series), compared to my CSi30 from last...
Sounds to me like they turned on your Dig Coax connection (for the first time by your shock). So now your receiver is getting a DD signal, as opposed to a stereo signal. P.S. My 225 also stands in awe of it's MUCH bigger brother
Dont consider anything, just upgrade. I work at Futureshop, and we go through at LEAST one of those things a month, and thats trying to take it easy on it. 404 is prone to poping too, just takes a bit more, but nowhere near levels that should be making it pop. It's weird cause I know last year...
Thats really interesting considering that I'm all but decided on N24's as my new rears. Think i'll have to give that a try when I get them. Thanks for the tip.
I tried resesting mine when it first started happening last summer, and it only lasted for about two days, then a day, then about ten mins, then not at all. May try and take it apart this weekend and see about the connections.
I had the same prob with my kenwood remote. Still haven't figured out what happened. The closest thing to a solution that I can come up with is something I read awhile ago that direct sunlight can wreck in infrared sensor. I had my reciever in my bedroom of the house that I just moved into at...
Well I've been at FS for over a year now and have NEVER seen speakers sold/priced as singles, so yeah, i'm sure. I work at the Burlington store. I'd say come on by, but you wouldn't be impressed. It's one of the oldest FS stores in Ontario.
Just to let you know, the E60's are $799/pr. not a single speaker. And till Dec 31st there on for $599 CDN/"pr." at Futureshop. BTW if you were in my store in the speaker room, I would've been in there first chance I had, that being said it is boxing week, and it is REALLY busy, at least in...
Sounds about right. I work at Futureshop and we went through 4-5 of those things in 2 months. Can't handle anything. We dont even have it hooked it up anymore.
It is a good unit, the 35. The difference between the 25 and the 35 are that the 25 doesn't have an S-Video, or optical output. It's also exclusive to Futureshop, from what I hear.
Just hook up the cable to your t.v., then take a pair of audio cables and run them from the audio out on your t.v. to an input on your reciever. You "MAY" have to turn off you t.v. speakers (in your menu) to get the output to work, depends on the t.v..
For $99 (Reg.$199) they aint too bad for music. Little low on the sound spectrum for my ears, but some customers like them. Listen to them and see if there worth your $99.
