Sean Connery in Lord of the Rings and Matrix?....

When I first saw Hugo as Elrond I leaned over and whispered "Mr Anderson!" But noticing him did not distract from the fact that he was a fantastic Elrond. It was a great casting decision, imho. I also felt he was far and away the best part of Revolutions. I don't think Connery would have hurt...

    The Sorkin-Less 'West Wing'

I don't think Josh is the one that's most out of character. We saw him crack pretty well in episodes following when he was shot. I think they're using this storyline to sort of bring him down to earth so they can start a grass-roots, "back to why we're really here", sort of mentality again...

    The Sorkin-Less 'West Wing'

Tuesday night I watched the "Two Cathedrals" episode on Bravo. All I can say is Wow, Oh dear God, Sorkin is a genius. That being said, I thought last night's episode was best yet this season, if bleakly tense. It had a better pace.

Things that bug you about your favorite movies...

X-Men - "You know what happens when a toad gets hit by lightning? Same thing that happens to everything else." Episode 2 - The 'this is a drag' and 'I'm beside myself' puns said by C3P0. And also, "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Not like...

    The Sorkin-Less 'West Wing'

Yeah, the "Bagel" thing rubbed me wrong from the get-go. I think it must be an attempt to emulate Sorkin's style. -Jen

    The Sorkin-Less 'West Wing'

Chad, I can't fault you for loving Sorkin's style because I couldn't agree more. I don't think last night's episode was that off base, though. It is CJ's way to speak out, with volume, and with heavy-handed explanations of human rights realities even when talking to people like Toby, Leo, and...

    The Sorkin-Less 'West Wing'

    > West Wing/Sorkin fan. I have to admit I was critical and skeptical going in to this season. I think that Aaron Sorkin is a brilliant writer. He writes phenomenal fast-paced, witty dialogue and great story lines about intelligent subjects and issues. The West Wing has hands down been the best...

Titanic (1997) has greatest ending of all time, according to new survey.

The Pledge Fight Club Momento Moulin Rouge The Usual Suspects oh, and I love at the end of Oceans 11 when they're all standing at the fountain, and they leave one at a time.:)

What did happen to tonight's episode of The West Wing?

 I guess I can understand where they are coming from with that decision, but I think making it in the 11th hour is pretty tacky.
