Does it also act as a line conditioner? From what I read, it acts more as a voltage/current reservoir (seems as if it may basically be a capacitor bank with other components) to keep a constant voltage/current level to all components on the circuit?

Anyone use Belden 8718 shielded cable (12 awg with 14 awg ground) as speaker cable. It's about 49 cents a foot at Electronics Surplus dot com. I'm thinking about using it for my system of a Sunfire Ultimate Receiver matched up with Martin Logan Ascent Fronts, Cinema center, and Scenario rears.

Anyone have the Denon 2815 5 Disc Changer? I am debating whether to go with the 2900 or with the 2815 if it has good video quality. I can get the 2815 for $399 and the 2900 for $799. I'm upgrading all around and was thinking of putting the savings into the speaker part of my budget. Thanks.
