I'm running a true biamp I have two 1075 amps (10 channels) the two fronts and the center are being powered by 6 seperate channels( center biamped also) if 1075 and the 1080 are about the same in power and sound, what would be a step up for a amp for the fronts????
I do enjoy the biamp, I do hear a difference,but of course I didn't have the 1080 in the system. you do think it would make a difference, it is better built then the 1075 . what about speakers my 60's are about 4 years old. they say the new studio 60's are much better sounding has anyone...

I'm running 60's true biamped with a rotel 1075 wow they sound great ,I also have a pr of titans for the rear surrounds and a pr of atoms for the rear center. they all run on two rotel 1075 amps. great setup hope you get them they are great speakers.
I just purchased a rotel 1098 and am setting up dual front subs .bass management is new to me and i don't know if the setting should match each other.example 80 hz in setup menu for pre/pro, 80hz on dial on back of subs.
well i bought the rotel 1098 yesterday, very nice piece i love the sound and the functionality. i live in buffalo and was invited to the b&k factory for a tour and listening room test, but the rotel came out the winner
HAVE DECIDED TO BUY ROTEL 1098 OVER ANTHEM AVM20 AND B&K REF 50 .I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON HOW THE ROTEL PREFORMS AND IF THEY ARE HAPPY WITH THE PIECE.
I have a yamaha 2095 with a rotel 1075 true biamped with the other channel going to the center. the amp is 120 watts per channel WOW WOW WOW , what a difference in sound it really sounds great. rotel is a great amp.
