Can you explain more about how it would be wired up if i have a 3 wire lead and still keep the fan working? Does a dimmer just have a positive and a negative?
I was hoping to add a IR dimmer switch to my home theater room, but the ceiling light, is a light/ceiling fan, and the guy at the store said not to put a dimmer switch on a circuit with a ceiling fan. Is there any easy way to wire up the line from the switch to the light, so that the fan is...
Your email address wasnt working for me Jeffery so i posted my response in here... I dunno how many i would need, i thought i'd need 2, but maybe i only need 1? I'm planning on splitting the sub out with a Y adapter, then running the one that goes to the shakers, into a voltage...
Here's the situation... I have a digital cable box and 2 amp's (bryston 8bst - fronts/3bst -rears) and i get a huge buzzing from my system.... I talked to my local dealer and he said try unplugging the cable from the system, and sure enough it went away... (it was a ground loop hum).... so...

I'm interested in getting some aura bass shakers (50w versions) and i'd like to install 4 of them into 2 couches... Currently i have a harmon kardon receiver 50w/channel running into 2 bryston amps (8bst - 4x140) (3bst - 2x140) and i have a powered sub that's also connected I'm a bit...
