Hmm after your comments and closer inspection I think the S26 are gonna be too big for the application im looking for, 17 inches is huge :) Kinda at a lose of ideas, seems i missed out as a buncha speakers i've seen that would work great are no longer sold like the Infinity s-26 etc...
I am trying to find a nice pair of bookshelf speakers to hook up to the 41tx or 45tx im planning on getting soon, these bookshelves are gonna be for my PC, as i already have nice speakers for my HT setup. I have looked around and only really come up with: JBL e30 (or e20) JBL S26 or the...
USB is quite important to me, as I am a computer guy and if i ever upgrade down the road to something crazy it can be used to power my computer speakers in my spare room.
Wilmington, NC. Well I found someone selling that seems reliable on ebay, only problem is, the warranty sheets are with the product in the box, but it states something about having to have baught from an authorized dealer.. If something were to happen how much of a hassle would it be to...
Well the one you were speaking of, with buy it now for 745 aren't getting anymore in.. but they do have an amazingly fast email reply CSR lol. If I had more money would probly just buy 55 off them. And I don't think i'd be willing to buy a for sure opened box from some random person...
Thanks kevin, I will give them a ring when i get home in a little bit. As for the ebay guy do you remember the name? And does buying it on ebay null the warranties as you can't verify if its new or not till you get it and all.
Well after deciding on buying it i have been looking on websites most of this week for the best deal and an actual website i can trust... Well after not trusting the in stock things, i have called quite a few places, and the ones i haven't called have it listed as back order.. Well I have...
In my opinion if you're going with the latest models, I'd hit up the 55 instead of the 53, cause from what i have seen the 53 isn't much better then the 43 which you can find for 300+ dollars cheaper.
45 also has USB if that matters to you at all :D Im personally about to buy the 45, it has all the features i need, plenty of hookups and if all goes well will last me quite a few years as im not as much of a guru as the rest of the people here :) Have you looked at both of there features...
well went by the local dealer today... they want $1,200 for 45tx.. so looks like im gonna be buying online as its like 700-800 on most sites.. Preatty mindset on getting this its few hundred more then i was hoping to spend but this way it will hopefully last me a bit longer and I will enjoy...
Hmmm 43 starting to sound like what i may go with, Tom_Es.. Where can i find info on the v1400? I googled couldnt find anything even went to yamaha websites and browsed but couldn't find any info. If you have a link or something would love it. Ya 53 runs around 300ish more then 43 it...
Well if anyone cares, I haven't had a chance to go hear the 43 due to my busy work schedule, but i did run by a friends yesterday for a bit and listened to his 53tx that he had running on some JBL's I was quite impressed though he was missing center channel (its being RMA'd i think) Think I...
Just wanted to say thanks so far, you guys are a big help. Well I will be going by a place in town today to hopefully sample the 43tx Probly gonna look up the manuals on: HK AVR-325 Pioneer 43TX Yamaha V1300 As its come down to practically these due to price and options.. My...

Just got home a bit ago and checked out ecost.com noticed warranty on the refurbs was only 90 days? That scares me hehe... dunno if i'd feel safe doin that. It would probly be much simpler if i could just go in somewhere and compare 3-4 500 dollar'ish receivers and go from that, but all the...
