Pipe Size Threaded Fitting Unthreaded Pipe Pipe size is the accepted industry designation, not the actual measured size. To determine pipe size, first measure the inside diameter (ID) or outside diameter (OD) of a threaded fitting or the OD of unthreaded pipe, as shown at left...
Hey George, I've been really busy lately at work. I just started painting my theater, should have it done by the end of the long weekend. Oh yeah, I just order some 090 berks yesterday, be jealous:D. To bad they won't be here in time for the first browns game, although I should have everything...
Well, the wind wasn't really blowing that hard all week. Most of the good scores were shot on thursday and friday with less good scores on the weekend because of some extra wind. Had the wind been blowing at 20 mph instead of the 10-15, the scores would be higher. I like to see Tiger win as...
Thanks for the suggestion on paint, but I used to work at the Sherwin Williams technology, so I have the hook up for paint. I also scored some acoustic foam 1' by 1' by 2" tiles and some diffusors. A guy at work was getting rid of his home studio and sold them to me for a nice discount. I...
Hey Guys, what have all you been upto? I am slowing getting my movie room done. Finally got the projector mounted, center speaker mounted and rear speakers mounted. I was doing some calibrations last night and ran a 200 Hz to 20 Hz sweep and yikes do I have a giant peak at about 38 Hz. How...
was planning on it, except the part of the front wall that will be used as the screen. that or dark red for the side walls and the back wall and black for the ceiling and front wall...probably will just go with all black, though. I will probably paint the screen a light greyish color.
Tweaking is pretty fun. Not sure how loud I will be able to play since I have a connected neighbor on either side, but I do have a basement so that should really help the noise. I will just have to do a sound check to see what is reasonable. I should be able to play it louder than in my...
Well, it is official...I closed on my condo/townhouse yesterday, take possesion on the first and will be moving mid june. I actually have basement to put the HT in. Unfortunately it is a square room, so I will most likely need to do some tweaking to get the sound right.
I some Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout and thought it was very good, it had a nice roasted taste to it. Still haven't been able to find a steelhead, though.
I like Blue moon as well, although not as much as Hoegarden or Stella, but good nonetheless.
In other news, I still haven't found an...
Finding Nemo is a good one. Inside the whale scene, Sub falling scene, darla tapping on the glass scene Lord of the Rings -- lots of good scenes in all of the movies. FOTR -- cave troll and balrog Matrix movies -- again lots of good parts in all the movies Helicopter gun in...
What a coincidence. Answering a paint question when I just happen to be wearing a sherwin williams t-shirt today, used to work there. I actually like the edge trimming pad type things. They work good once you get the hang of it and don't leave brush marks like brushes. Some of them are bad...
not really, both are good. some people like one over the other. DLP has better blacks, LCD you will get more resolution for less $$. Both have pros and cons. I am not up on the current models and such, but if you are going to use it for tv I would recommend something with a good...
Shana was looking nice. Yeah, I can't stand Matusow or Arieh either. Funny thing was when Flack had A9 and Matusow had A8, and an ace came on the turn, Matusow some how rationalized that Layne beat him on a two outter...
Another one that I didn't see suggested was handiness. Let them take things apart and put them back together. Encourage them to build things, anyone remember constructs? If you work on cars or fix things around the house let them watch or show them how to do it. It was one of the best things...
Yeah, I used to be able to do that with 3 digit numbers. But like Andrew stated if you don't practice it, it goes away fairly quickly. They way I used to do it was like this: (for 2 digit numbers) 68 times 79 = (60 + 8) * (70 + 9) = 4200 + 560 + 540 + 72 = 5372 combine that breakdown...
