Apparently Bose found a link between the speaker market and suspensions. http://www.bose.com/learning/project...on_results.jsp This is just ridiculous to me and makes me wonder if their Suspensions will all be marketing as well.
Well you can get shelves just about anywhere. I'm sure even Home Depot or Lowes have some basic shelving. The hard part is finding shelves that have bracketless supports. I think Ikea has a good selection though, and they are known for having low price, good quality product.
I have the takes and had the same problem with the center channel. No way to wall mount it. I had to buy some shelves to place the front 3 speakers on. My tv is reccessed into the wall so the shelves looked good. If you do go with shelves be careful. The speakers weigh enought that they could...
My first home theater setup worked perfectly the first time I set it up. I used the Denon manual solely and had no problems. Seemed quite clear to me what to do :)
This really surprises me that no one ahs directly adressed this issue. How am I, as a user, supposed to get my "reference level" if I cant get a measureing device that is the same as the engineer's. And all of you people who say you get your speakers to refrence level and then...
I have the 43 inchers and its great.... but Like the person who posted before me said. "at one point you have to jump in" If you wait for it to be there.... You will never have a TV.
I could not find any information on Mono blocks? I want to know about these and what they are (amps from what I have read) and how they work. And why in so many cases people reccomend them for BIG budget people? I basically want to know everything about them. :D I even did a search for...
I own the 5.2's and love them.... the biggest flaw is that all 4 satallites coming with great wall mounting set ups built in tilting and turning. :D But the center channel has none of this and has no built in hardware to wall mount it. So the solution is to put it on the TV (most likely...
You know what was really funny is now that that the term "white van speakers" have become so common they are changing their tactics. Some guy by my local best buy was selling speakers, or trying to before he got kicked of the property, out of a GREEN SUBBURBAN!!!!!! I was going to talk cheese...
If I am not mistaken you can get a pair of Energy Conn. C-1's for 300/pr. But this would put you at the edge of your budget with no center. It is possible, though unlikely, to find the three fronts for around 300. If not I reccomend the rest of the take 5.2 set up.,I have these I and I love...
I have to reccomend the Energy Take 5.2... its $600 without a sub but I absolutely love it. Stay away from their subs not the best bang for your buck. So check out one of the other subs everyone else is reccomending. I have these and they are great. Plus in the Maple finish they are...
So with the 3805 coming out I can expect the 3803 to drop in price.... sweet because although good, my 1603 just doesn't have the juice I want for the upgrade path I'm looking at. What a great day when something new comes out... for us who don't need the latest and greatest at least :D
I would seriously consider the C-7. IMHO its the best in the Connoisseur line. I don't know what it is about it that makes me like it more. I think the C-9 is just slightly more muffeled. (Not that theses speakers are muffeled but I don't know how else to say it) Plus it cost less :D I second...
I seriously just showed the wifey and thanx to you I can now say I have a wimpy, and I mean wimpy sub! Maybe its time for a DIY for me. Been thinking about it since last Nov. but have not had anytime to do it. PS. Your wife must be blind. Or else she would have caught you nad killed you by...
I don't know where to get them, but just want to tell you these are FANTASTIC speakers, not just for the price but for their size as well! Good choice. BTW I have theses and love them! :D :D :D
I'm in a situation where I have all my components, except the tv, on a surge protector. The reason my tv is not on that surge protector is that I would have to run a visible extension cord to the location of the surge protector, and I really don't want that. :frowning: Right now it is in its...
Chris that is exactly the responce I was hoping for. Of course I will take your guy's advice and use a calibration disc, and if I really feel that I need more from my set I will call a pro. Thx a lot everyone!!! :D :D
Well I am glad to say I have finally purchased a 43" sammy DLP and its coming wednesday!!! :D :D :D But my question for you guys is do I need someone to come to my house and 'profesionally' calibrate it. Or if I use Avia or one of those types of disc will it be just as good? What exactly can...
For that cheap it would almost be cheaper for you to buy me some and have it shipped to me!! Very lucky... my local yard is about 55-60 bucks for a 5'x5' sheet.
That is so amazing looking its not even funny. My only question is. Was that 90year old woman deaf before or after the B4 Bomber came in(like that name :D)???
After a long time reasearching I have decided to go with a Sammy 43" DLP. It sounded like the perfect fit for my needs. But now I have a few questions. First I am planning to get it from Best Buy since it's the best deal I can get. But I'm guessing they don't have the best customer service...
I am just imagining the red and yellow of the ferarri and the auto finish and begin to drool. I think it would be a fantastic look... you should get goin on that now because I want to see it! :D
I don't really think that any functioning speaker is a bad speaker... But when you try to sell me something that cant even reproduce some of the more important frequencys in the range of human hearing. Then you try to tell me that it is the ultimate sound and sell it to me at a ridiculous for...
I was wondering about this. I am about to order a shiva MKIII and a PE 250w amp and put it all in the adire vented design box. But Will the amp come with the wires or whatever I need to connnect it to the sub? Or do I still need to buy something else?
So where can I buy a rythmik amp??? Right now I'm leaning towards the AV12 an likely going to buy a prebuilt enclosure from stryke audio. Then finish it up my self to my exact liking.
Hmmmmm now I'm really torn between the tempest and the AV12. I was practically ready to get the tempest but now looking at the AV12 I'm wondering again. But a couple of questions? Can the AV12 bet set up for downfiring? And what type of enclosure. I like the fact that the adire site gives...
Yeah it is Bass... I just hate that word... Whenever I see it I always say bass as in the fish. What I mean by the output part is that My wife HATES bass. She says it hurts her ears. So when she is around I want to be able to turn down the sub and have it not give off so much bass. Even...
