This DVD was SUCH a huge disappointment. This movie looked breathtaking in the theater, but the DVD had so much grain and looked so soft I thought I was watching a VHS instead of a DVD. This wasn't a case of the disc "representing the actual look of the film", as what I saw in the theater...
The train sequence is very, very impressive, but what impressed me the most was how much care was put to Danny Elfman's wonderful score, not tossing it aside favoring the sound FX. This is without a doubt one of the best sounding DVDs regarding the score I've ever listened. That "He's Back!"...
The "Spyder-Cam" part alone is better than all the special features from the first DVD put together. It's amazing to find out that they started shooting those backgrounds at the same time that the first film's DVD came out. I'll wait until I see screencaps to see if the Superbit's video is...
Charlie, how was it like interviewing Danny Elfman? Is he a nice guy? I got an early copy of the DVD too and I have to say that "Making the Amazing" is easily the best "making-of" documentary I've ever seen. Kudos to you for that!

Look what I just found at the Batman on Film site!!!! BOF reader "Edskizzorhands" attended a screening of Tim Burton's BIG FISH at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, hosted by Burton himself. In a Q&A session afterward, Burton confirmed that SE versions for the first three Bat-films--ones...
