I suggest you get an APC UPS for your projector. That way if your mains power experiences instability, you won't be shopping for an expensive new bulb the next day. Surge protection is, of course, already built into the UPS.

Just thought I'd chime in as a huge Dream Theater fan. I saw them for the first time in Tulsa, Oklahoma about a month ago. It was a great show! To people who who've never heard of DT, I tell them "imagine Rush, if Rush were born 20 years later". That usually gets them an OK picture of who DT are.
