I have had the Servo for several years, and just purchased the Seismic. I thought that due to the size of the basement, it would be a good idea to have a second sub. I use them together, and the extra bass it very noticeable - however it is probably overkill. One reason for going with the...
I initially wanted to get rid of the little wall that comes out, but it turned out it was there for a reason. Next option was to build another wall in front so I could have a fixed screen, but I decided I didn't want to lose sq ft - plus I didn't want the speakers in front of the screen. At...
Just purchased a new house a few months ago, and finally have the basement mostly complete. Some before and after pictures - Kids gameroom - More theater pictures -
I am in the process of building a home theater, and have looked at some different personalized marques – and this one from ebay looks good to me. So first – has anyone purchased from this guy before, or have opinions on the sign? http://cgi.ebay.com/Personalized-Cus...QQcmdZViewItem Also...
I am in the middle of a theater install - I am installing CAN lighting into a black ceiling. Question is should I paint the CAN lights black so they blend better into the ceiling? My concern is that if they are black, they might not produce enough light. I assume that the interior of the lights...
While you are telling people to use their head, please keep in mind that you are the one who purchased the speakers in question.... I myself decided to go with another Canadian company - Paradigm - who is actually mentioned in that article (even though it is about API) along with PSB. Guess they...
Strange - that article you reference titled, "Spreading the Word on Canadian Audio" doesn't mention Nuance speaker at all. The author decides to write an article about the wonderful speakers that Canada produces, but fails to mention Nuance? Impossible!
but don't want to pay the shipping if I decide to go with something else, so I was hoping I could audition one locally. I live in the Jacksonville FL area - can anyone help? Thanks
That is just crazy! The only one on that list that I can see Monster having a valid claim against is No. 63 since it appears they are selling the same product.
Thanks again for all the help. I ended up getting the Cinenova, but unfortunately it is not working correctly.:frowning: When I hook up the speakers to the amp, I get static sound coming from the speakers. When I hook the amp up to my receiver through the preouts and turn it on, the static...
Thanks for the replies. To answer the questions, I have Paradigm Studio 100s which I think are 89 db. I would like something with a lot of power, because I do like to play movies and music loud at times... I plan on keeping the Denon for probably another year. Thanks so for for the...
I am trying to find a good 5x amp to hook up to my Denon 3803. My budget is about 3k or less, and new or used does not matter. I am currently considering the Parasound HCA 2205AT, Sunfire, and CineNova Grande 5. Any thoughts on which would be the best? Other suggestions? And is there a...
Is there any reason you can't do it yourself? When my house was being built, I was able to run the wire myself. I didn't do inwall speakers, just ran the wire and installed the terminals for external speakers. It was the first time I had ever done it, and it took me about 1 hour.
