Eric I have done this several times. I just connect my optical out to one of the optical ins on my receiver. Make sure the setting for the sound card is set to output 5.1 or 6.1. You'll have to use one of the DSP modes like PLII to get sound from all of your speakers. Hope this helps - Tod
